First Grade crush Randwick

The mighty Southern Districts Rebels have secured a spot in the preliminary finals on the back of a 57-25 win over Randwick at Coogee Oval. Randwick struggled against a stronger back line with Rohan Saifoloi bagging a double and Alex Gibbon getting a triple. Souths' had a good lead heading into the last 20 minutes and although the Rebels brought on some fresh players toward the end Randwick failed to change what was a significant victory with Souths running in a try on the bell to slam the message home. Thanks to all of the supporters who got off the couch and left the shire despite it being a TV game. The Rebels now go on to play Sydney University this weekend in a rematch of the 2012 Grand Final. Details to come - but we can assume this year - One Better in 2013.
