SDRC Strategic Plan
The Board, led by Ken McKay, has been working hard behind the scenes to develop a solid Strategic Plan to move our Club forward.
The Shute Shield competition is evolving at an exponential rate, and it's important that we as a Club look to examine our overall operation, and modernise if we are to remain relevant and competitive in the current and future environment of the competition. Key to that success will be increasing the level of professionalism at the Club, whilst not losing sight of our core community role – to develop young men and women to be best people and athletes they can be.
Our vision has been identified as 'Being recognised as having the best Club pathway program (juniors – schools through seniors) and the strongest Rugby Club in New South Wales.'
We will focus on the following 6 strategic pillars over the next 3 years:
- Club Player Development
- Club Governance and Operations
- Community Engagement
- Rugby Operations
- Financial Responsibility
- Facilities and Infrastructure
