Supporting the future of rugby in the Southern Districts

The Rebels Foundation, in partnership with Australian Sports Foundation, gives our community a way to invest in and support the future of the Southern District Rugby Club and the wider region

Our foundation contributes funding to the club, to make sure that it remains financially strong into the future. It supports our strategic initiatives, and will help us evolve, thrive and dominate both on-field and off for years to come.

But our success depends on your support.

Priorities

As we look to the future, we want to leave not just a professional legacy, but a community legacy as well.

That’s why you’ll find a strong focus on junior support in our Strategic Plan. As our Shute Shield side benefits from our foundation so will our grassroots junior clubs, through access to grants.

As a club, our focus on community sets us apart. We not only produce professional athletes, but do our best to support our everyday rugby players who are a wonderful part of our local community.

Other funding priorities for The Rebel's Foundation are in line with the Strategic Plan. The plan covers all aspects of the club, including junior growth, governance, rugby operations, finance, philanthropy and community engagement.

We accept donations of any size.

If you donate $200 or more, you will be recognised and acknowledged as one of Southern Districts Plus 200 Donors on our website and social media

DID YOU KNOW YOUR DONATION TO THIS PROJECT IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) is the only deductible gift recipient for sport in Australia. This means that donations of $2 or more to approved projects on our website are tax deductible.

Shortly after making your donation, you’ll receive an official receipt from the ASF that you can use in your income tax return.
